What is Globalization?...

At first, i would like to say that i didn't have a clue about what is globalization , but now i know that globalization is one of the most important ways that affects a lot of countries a lot of different ways.  Name for the process of increasing the connectivity and interdependence of the world's markets and businesses . This process has speeded up dramatically in the last two decades as technological advances make it easier for people to travel, communicate, and do business internationally. Two major recent driving forces are advances in telecommunications infrastructure and the rise of the internet. In general, as economies become more connected to other economies, they have increased opportunity but also increased compitition. Thus, as globalization becomes a more and more common feature of world economic, powerful pro-globalization and anti-globalization lobbies have arisen.
The pro-globalization lobby argues that globalization brings about much increased opportunities for almost everyone, and increased competition is a good thing since it makes agents of production more efficient. The two most prominent pro-globalization organizations are the World Trade Organization and the World Economic Forum. The World Trade Organization is a pan-governmental entity (which currently has 144 members) that was set up to formulate a set of rules to govern global trade and capital flows through the process of member consensus, and to supervise their member countries to ensure that the rules are being followed. The World Economic Forum, a private foundation, does not have decision-making power but enjoys a great deal of importance since it has been effective as a powerful networking forum for many of the world's business, government and not-profit leaders.
The anti-globalization group argues that certain groups of people who are deprived in terms of resources are not currently capable of functioning within the increased competitive pressure that will be brought about by allowing their economies to be more connected to the rest of the world. Important anti-globalization organizations include environmental groups like Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace; international aid organizations like Oxfam; third world government organizations like the G-77; business organizations and trade unions whose competitiveness is threatened by globalization like the U.S. textiles and European farm lobby, as well as the Australian and U.S. trade union movements.

New Year Resolution

Around the world, New Year resolution is now a tradition that all of us do. it’s valuable to all of us to take some time to reflect on what the past year was about for us, and what we want to create in the new one. Get out a piece of paper and write what you want to improve. But actually ,  I am one of the people who do not believe in it because I tried it last year and it didn’t work, I only followed that paper for like 1 month to 2 months maximum and then I failed and continued to be me (stupid). In my opinion, New Year resolution doesn’t teach us anything at all , but if you want to change anything , change it now not later, if you want to change , it’s up to you, you are the only one that can control yourself . Do what you are capable of in a positive way! Don’t let a piece of paper control what you think. Experiencing life, every day we learn something and life make us change according to the circumstances. Thank you.

An Amazing Holiday

Haven't you thought about an incredible holiday during the mid-term vacation?
Two weeks ago, our mid-term vacation started. My family and I had a lot of plans to carry out during the vacation.
To start with, I spent the first four days playing with my "Play Station 3" online with my friends, the most common games that most youth play are "Fifa 2012" and "Call Of Duty". I used to practice ping pong in Alameyeen club in 6th October city. I had a tournament versus ElSeid club and I won. The only thing that diturbed my vacation was the news of our friend's parents death, we really sympathized with her and call her to calm her down.
Secondly, we decided to go to Gouna in Hurghada. It was an awesome trip where we spent the best four days ever. In Gouna, we stayed in Movenpick hotel owned by Naguib Saweeres, the richest person in Egypt. It is really a luxurious hotel equipped with all modernized equipments, with it's spacious gym and beach. The rooms were incredible as the view was breath taking. We went snorkeling and diving in the Red Sea, we enjoyed watching the coral reefs. we rented a yacht which took us to a small island in the middle of the sea.
At the end, we went back home dreaming about our terrific holiday, waiting for the coming one soon.

Winter Break Assignment

My Book Report
pride and prejudice is a novel written by Jane Austen, one of the greatest novelists in the English language. It was about the daily business of social visits , romantic affairs , and matchmaking.
The story started in England. The main characters are Mr and Mrs Bennet, their five daughters, Mr Darcy and Mr Bingley. We were introduced to the mother who was trying to find suitors to her daughters by attending balls and visiting neighbours. Eliza met Darcy fo the first time in a ball, she was prejudice against him as he ignored her and she felt hurt. On the other hand, Jane fel in love wih Bingley although their social rank was completely different. Letters also played an important role in the novel as we know more about the characters throught letters. It was obvious that the only mean of communication at that time was sending letters. The main theme of the novel is love versus hatred, distinction between social classes.
This novel is really interesting especially when you get to know more about social standard in England at that time and Jane Austen really succeeded in drawing pictures of domestic life in country villages with a sharper. I strongly recommend this novel to be ead as you will be willing to be introduced to such type of novels.
